This 3,400 square foot project was completed in June of 2009. The space, designed by Stegenga + Partners, consisted of a family practice medical office facility. The practice consisted of six exam rooms, one procedure room, lab and one central nurse’s station. SG Contracting coordinated with the Owner’s vendors in an effort to ensure that all equipment and procedural requirements were in place to ensure a smooth transition and move for the practices’ office management. The facility included an additional 800 square feet for future exam rooms as well as design that allows for future exterior expansion.

SG Contracting’s working relationship with the Owner allowed construction to continue on track despite moderate additions and changes in the scope of work during the construction process. This 3,400 square foot project was completed in less than six months in spite of the fact that the project lost over forty five work days due to rain.

This is the first of two locations that were built simultaneously; there is a third location that is scheduled to start in the 4th quarter of 2009.
